EDUCATEU - EPISODE 7 - Finding Fit! Go on Campus for Visits

Updated: Apr 7

On this episode of Educate U, we were joined by our guest, Alethea Gaddis who as the founder of Jump Start U 4 College, has planned college visits to more than 84 colleges and universities across the United States.

We discussed the importance of finding a college that fits and how going on college visits can benefit prospective college students. Alethea discussed all aspects of her program and her plans to enable students to also learn a bit about their history and heritage while going on the visits by also visiting historical places of importance to African American students and experiencing things that they have not experienced before. Also discussed were the tips and training that she provides her students to enable them to get the most out of their visits

Althea left the viewers with three things they should keep in mind when searching for a college to call home.
